New Google service solves sudoku !!!

If you're stuck on your sudoku puzzle, there's hope. New photo recognition software for Android mobiles - Goggles - can help solve the puzzle.

Just hold the numerical puzzle up to the camera on your mobile. Goggles will then recognize the numbers already in the puzzle and calculate the missing values.

Goggles, now in version 1.3, is also capable of reading ads in US magazines and newspapers and pulling up the appropriate websites. Recognition of bar codes has also gotten better, reported Google in its blog.

Goggles photographs items and loads them up to Google's servers, where they are analyzed before results are sent to the user's mobile.

Google says the app can also recognize products and famous sites. It also translates texts between English, German and Spanish.

The free software is available for all smart-phones that use the Android operating system. The Sudoku assistance is also available in the Google Mobile app for the iPhone.

Facebook: Mobile numbers, addresses 'a security risk'

A security expert has warned that users should remove their home addresses and phone numbers from their Facebook accounts.

Graham Cluley said the website now gives third parties access to that information.

The website said in a blog post at the weekend that it would give developers of applications access to the contact information of users who install their apps.

"These permissions must be explicitly granted to your application by the user via our standard permissions dialogs. Please note that these permissions only provide access to a user's address and mobile phone number, not their friend's addresses or mobile phone numbers," the Sydney Morning Herald quoted Facebook's Jeff Bowen as saying.

However, Sophos security expert Cluley, has raised doubts over the move.

"You have to ask yourself - is Facebook putting the safety of its 500+ million users as a top priority with this move?" he said.

"It won't take long for scammers to take advantage of this new facility, to use for their own criminal ends."

Cluley advised that users should take personal info such as home addresses and mobile numbers off their pages.

"You can imagine, for instance, that bad guys could set up a rogue app that collects mobile phone numbers and then uses that information for the purposes of SMS spamming or sells on the data to cold-calling companies," he said. (ANI)

Search engine optimization (SEO)

Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of improving the visibility of a website or a web page in search engines via the "natural" or un-paid search results.

Steps for Search Engine Optimization:

Keywords in Title
This is one of the most important places to have a keyword because what is written inside the title.title tag shows in search results as your page title. The title tag must be short (6 or 7 words at most) and the the keyword must be near the beginning.

Keywords in URL
Keywords in URLs help a lot - e.g. - http://domainname.com/seo-services.html, where “SEO services” is the keyword phrase you attempt to rank well for. But if you don't have the keywords in other parts of the document, don't rely on having them in the URL.

Keyword density in document text
Another very important factor you need to check. 3-7 % for major keywords is best, 1-2 for minor. Keyword density of over 10% is suspicious and looks more like keyword stuffing, than a naturally written text.

Keywords in anchor text
Also very important, especially for the anchor text of inbound links, because if you have the keyword in the anchor text in a link from another site, this is regarded as getting a vote from this site not only about your site in general, but about the keyword in particular.

Keywords in headings
One more place where keywords count a lot. But beware that your page has actual text about the particular keyword.

Keywords in the beginning of a document

Also counts, though not as much as anchor text, title tag or headings. However, have in mind that the beginning of a document does not necessarily mean the first paragraph – for instance if you use tables, the first paragraph of text might be in the second half of the table.

Keywords in
tags
Spiders don't read images but they do read their textual descriptions in the tag, so if you have images on your page, fill in the tag with some keywords about them.

Keywords in meta-tags
Less and less important, especially for Google. Yahoo! and Bing still rely on them, so if you are optimizing for Yahoo! or Bing, fill these tags properly. In any case, filling these tags properly will not hurt, so do it.

Making Money :Bux

Money, the factor which nearly 45% people surf the internet. There are many ways to earn through net, without investing, however, not many people are able to achieve it. Months ago, i was surfing through the internet, to find the ways to earn and i reached the www.Bux.to website. I found it a great website to start your internet earnings just by clicking ads daily. Moreover, you earn even when your referrals click their ads, and it is independent of no. of referrals. That means if you achieve a good no. of referrals, it will give you a constant source of money. However, the picture doesn't end here, you earn also when referrals of your referrals click their ads, so there is a good scope for earning. So what is the wait for, here is the link:

Wikileaks: Wats inside it !!!

When the Washington Times reported in 1998 that the National Security Agency was able to monitor Osama bin Laden’s satellite phone, for example, he stopped using it.
WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange argues that greater transparency “creates a better society for all people.” This raises the question of why governments keep secrets at all, and whether those reasons are justified.

Who is Wikileaks?
WikiLeaks is an international non-profit media organisation that issues submissions of otherwise unavailable documents from anonymous sources and leaks. WikiLeaks is a project of the Sunshine Press. The WikiLeaks website first appeared on the Internet in December 2006. The creators of WikiLeaks have not been officially described. It has been represented in public since January 2007 by Julian Assange and others. Assange describes himself as a member of WikiLeaks' advisory board.

The wikileaks website connection is encrypted, utilizing SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology. SSL also allows users to check the identity of the site. Besides WikiLeaks is the secure site with an encrypted connection WikiLeaks also provides TOR (The Onion Router) network. TOR network allows users to hide the IP address origin. The use of the TOR network is to strengthen the document contributors anonymity.

WikiLeaks also accept leaked material in person and via postal drops as alternative techniques, and the anonymous electronic drop box as the preferred method of submitting any material. WikiLeaks also mentions that it has a network of talented lawyers around the world who are personally committed to the principles that WikiLeaks is based on, and who defend its media organisation.

Facebook is safe, Don't worry !!!

A post at The Weekly World News claims that Zuckerberg "wants his old life back" and that "managing Facebook has become too stressful." It also says that "users will no longer be able to access their Facebook accounts on March 15th."
Ever since the news source published this article, people have been anticipating that their favorite social networking site would now come to an end. However, much to their relief, Facebook has confirmed that they are not ending the site and its usage would continue.
Facebook has assured in its status update that they did not get any memo about shutting down and would, therefore, continue with the functioning of the site. It also tweeted that they are not going anywhere as they have just started with the long journey. A famous technology blog also got an official confirmation, when a representative from Facebook said that it was not true and urged the people to help them in getting out of the silly rumor. It also said they have not been given any such news and therefore people can feel relieved, as the site would be in functioning order for several more years to come.
In a tweet, Facebook has officially responded to the silly rumor. "We didn't get the memo about shutting down, so we'll keep working away. We aren't going anywhere; we're just getting started."

Impressive 5

Today i was browsing on the web for 3D examples of  HTML5, and i reached this link:
http://mrdoob.com/92/Google_Gravity_HTML5
It was a great surprise for me, what a great range of effects, almost independent of the internet speed.
In the link given above, they have provided many examples( just click on the pics and you will find a new effect). However sites like w3schools do not have any tutorial for HTML5, which is really disappointing. HTML5 is still in the under-development stage, and is expected to get mature in the next 2-3 years.

PaisaLive: Scam or Real ???

PaisaLive.com, most of the people now knows about it. This site claims to earn Rs. 9000 per month. But all this is not behind the scene. This site is actually a big scam, which may actually pay you, but it will take atleast 1 year of hard work to earn Rs. 500. Lets See how:
This site pays you a min. of Rs.500. U get signup bonus Rs. 99 and Rs.50 per referrals for first two referrals only. After that, you would be limited to Rs.2 per referral only. It pays you Rs. 0.25 (yes, it is 25 paise) for every email you read( in some cases it is Rs.0.50). They send you 5 to 8 mails per day. Which means u will earn  about Rs. 2 per day. Now you would think this is not that bad. But, wait, here is something more irritating. After some days of your signup, they will give you message that u will not be paid of you do not participate in any of the advertisement's plans, At this point, your all work will go in vein, as either the advertisers want you to make a purchase, or they need you to go through some difficult procedure.
Now what do you think about PaisaLive... Comments are welcome.

How to track a mobile number

With the rapid growth of mobile phone usage in recent years, we have often observed that the mobile phone has become a part of many illegal and criminal activities. So in most cases, tracing the mobile number becomes a vital part of the investigation process. Also sometimes we just want to trace a mobile number for reasons like annoying prank calls, blackmails, unknown number in a missed call list or similar.
Even though it is not possible to trace the number back to the caller, it is possible to trace it to the location of the caller and also find the network operator. Just have a look at this page on tracing Indian mobile numbers from Wikipedia. Using the information provided on this page, it is possible to certainly trace any mobile number from India and find out the location (state/city) and network operator (mobile operator) of the caller. All you need for this is only the first 4-digit of the mobile number. In this Wiki page you will find all the mobile number series listed in a nice tabular column where they are categorized based on mobile operator and the zone (state/city). This Wiki page is updated regularly so as to provide up-to-date information on newly added mobile number series and operators. I have used this page many a time and have never been disappointed.
If you would like to use a simpler interface where in you can just enter the target mobile number and trace the desired details, you can try this link from Numbering Plans. Using this link, you can trace any number in the world.
By using the information in this article, you can only know “where” the call is from and not “who” the caller is. Only the mobile operator is able to tell you ”who” the caller is. So if you’re in an emergency and need to find out the actual person behind the call, I would recommend that you file a complaint and take the help of police. I hope this information has helped you!

Ajax: The Web 'amplifier

Ajax is used for dynamically changing a web-page( i.e. changing a part of the page without refreshing the whole page). Here is an example how it works:
 1st file: Example.html
<html>
<head>
<script type="text/javascript">
function loadXMLDoc()
{
if (window.XMLHttpRequest)
  {// code for IE7+, Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Safari
  xmlhttp=new XMLHttpRequest();
  }
else
  {// code for IE6, IE5
  xmlhttp=new ActiveXObject("Microsoft.XMLHTTP");
  }
xmlhttp.onreadystatechange=function()
  {
  if (xmlhttp.readyState==4 && xmlhttp.status==200)
    {
    document.getElementById("myDiv").innerHTML=xmlhttp.responseText;
    }
  }
xmlhttp.open("GET","ajax_info.txt",true);
xmlhttp.send();
}
</script>
</head>
<body>

<div id="myDiv"><h2>Data will be shown here</h2></div>
<button type="button" onclick="loadXMLDoc()">Load Text</button>

</body>
</html>

2nd file: data.txt
"So here it shows how it works"

This way the ajax technology works.

HTML 5: The Next Generation Web

HTML 5 is ready to rock the web world. It is not a new language, nor it is tedious complexion over the basic html. Just there are many new tags added to the conventional language, which makes it a powerful source for coders. The new features include 3D support, direct tags for audio and video, and should include direct support for jquery like web-changing things.
